    Wealth in Nigeria is MYSTIFIED…

    This is why the wealthy are worshiped.

    And No, this is not the fault of the wealthy.

    Every wealthy Nigerian I interacted with was simple but the society they live in has made it impossible to be wealthy and simple - for example, you could get kidnapped without armed security. So the middle class to wealthy class move around with armed security. And if you give everyone access to you, they will use their family problems to destroy your wealth.

    So the wealthy in Nigeria is forced to build high walls around themselves. I do not blame them. They did the right thing.

    Elsewhere in the world, you could walk into a regular shop and find someone richer than Dangote shopping for groceries. No bodyguards. No driver. Just simple people living their normal lives.

    A pharmacist, dentist, leader, and entrepreneur. A world traveler. A fighter. Now, an angel.

    Uchenna Chinenye Ezenwa, 56, of Adazi Enu in Anambra State, Nigeria, died on March 7, 2024. Uche was born in London, England in 1967 and grew up in Onitsha as the first of three daughters, or the Ada, to Amaziah and Esther Ikegwuonu of Nnewi, Nigeria. Uche led and cared for her family from an early age. Throughout her life and no matter the challenge, her family and friends knew they could count on her as the determined problem-solver in their lives.

    Uche was the definition of a go-getter. After her graduation from the University of Benin, Nigeria, she returned to the United Kingdom as a dental surgeon and got married to Dr. Osy C. Ezenwa. Thereafter, sh
