    Bhagyashree’s son to make Bollywood debut with Mard ko Dard Nahin Hota

    The film marks a synergy between Phantom film’s Anurag Kashyap and his long time assistant Vasan Bala, who has been working with the film maker since Dev D.

    Bhagyashree’ son Abhimanyu Dasani is all set to make his Bollywood debut in a quirky action comedy Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota by production banner Phantom Films.

    The film is directed by Vasan Bala, who wrote and directed the crime-thriller Peddlers. It will also launch Radhika Madan. “Vasan (Bala) has written a superbly funny and kick ass martial arts film, the likes of which I have neither read nor seen. It’s so local and so new that you can’t help but marvel at it,” filmmaker Anurag Kashyap said in a statement.

    Kashyap says he is glad to produce the film. “We at Phantom, hope it becomes a never before seen franchise with these maddeningly crazy characters,” he added.

    Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota (Hindi pronunciation:[məɾd̪koːd̪əɾd̪nəɦiːɦoːt̪aː]), released internationally as The Man Who Feels No Pain, is a Indian Hindi-language action comedy film written and directed by Vasan Bala and produced by Ronnie Screwvala under his banner RSVP Movies. The film stars Abhimanyu Dassani in his acting debut, alongside Radhika Madan, Gulshan Devaiah, Mahesh Manjrekar and Jimit Trivedi.[5] In the film, a young man, who has a rare condition called congenital analgesia, strikes out on a quest to vanquish his foes.

    The film premiered in the Midnight Madness section of the Toronto International Film Festival, where it won the People's Choice Award: Midnight Madness.[6][7] The film was also screened at the MAMI Film Festival where it received standing ovation.[8][9]
