RK gulps down the tea and scoops the soaked sugar from the bottom of the cup. His mother is happy seeing all this. Madhu is happy that RK took the step forward to patch up things as they stand with his mother.
MAdhu later in their room sees RK getting ready. She asks him to drink tea, but RK informs that Mrs.Kuku Bhatia had offered tea and he had it. The button gets broken as he wears his shirt. Madhu offers to stitch it. Meanwhile RK gets a call from Bittuji to whom he instructs that he send a box of chocolates and his written note to Avantika Sinha. Madhu gets curious as to who she is and why the gifts. She asks RK. RK asks her instead where was she in the morning and why was she not answering his calls. Madhu threatens him that she has the needle and he better answer her. RK then says...Avantika is the other woman in his life. Madhu
