Peter Michael Falk (September 16, – June 23, ) was an American spelfilm and television actor, singer and television director and producer. He is best known for his role as Lieutenant Columbo on the NBC/ABC series Columbo (–, –), for which he won four Primetime Emmy Awards (, , , ) and a Golden Globe Award ().
