  • Naga-inhabited areas resonate with a sense of unique history and culture — the National Socialist Council of Nagaland NSCN (Isak-Muivah).
  • NSCN again split into two factions—Isak-Muivah (IM) and Khaplang (K)—in 1988 owing to ideological differences between the leaders (ibid.).
  • Finally, in the light of Dr Martin Luther King Jr. we all must see the suffering of people at Siroy and make an effort to help them by.

For much too long, the Nagas have been made to bear the cross of "rampant uncontrolled taxation" of the NPGs and the "unsparing commission regime" of the State Government. The abject fear for the guns pointed at the people by the NPGs on the one hand and the deafening silence of many of the motivated self indulgent NGOs the Churches and intellectuals on the other, completes the decadent canvas of our society. It is this passive silence of the masses that has emboldened the powers that be to openly carry out their illegal money harvesting occupations, casting all caution to the wind. What Edmund Burke said ages ago that "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing" rings so true today. Potentiality in Crisis: The Indo-Naga Case

History of many nations has shown us that the future can be shaped by a leadership who are flexible and open to grasping new opportunities when they emerge. History has also demonstrated that such opportunities can be lost due to a leadership locked in the thinking and hatreds of the past. The experience of Nationalist movements around the world should man us cautious about embracing the aim of a unified Naga state. Most such visionaries finish up doing more harm than good. The leadership of both ISIS and the Al Qaeda movements would appear willing to drag their följare into wars that lead to the total destruction of cities, communities and families. The “true believers” hold that this fryst vatten all for their good, and the good of their New World beställning, the caliphate as they call it! Such movements need not be religious. The Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam, for example, brought death and destruction upon their people in the pursuit of
