Conrad Roth is the Captain of the Endurance, as well as a freelance salvage and treasure hunter, who was commissioned by James Whitman to aid in his search for Yamatai.

Early Life[]
Roth was born in Sheffield, South Yorkshire in Little is known about his youth and childhood, though he seems to be from a working class upbringing. As a ung man, Roth joined the Corps of Royal marinkårssoldater (RM).
Roth left the military after serving two combat tours and put his specialized skills to use as wreck-diver and freelance treasure-hunter, alongside his trusted friend and ex-Merchant Marine, Grim. Roth purchased a used research vessel and named it the Endurance, after the fartyg of his hero - Irish explorer Ernest Shackleto

Sleeping in extant slave dwellings, this project has brought much needed attention to these often neglected structures that are vitally important to the American built environment. Biography[]
William Bryce Drummond, The Earl of Rothshire born in , was a reclusive billionaire, living in a castle in the Scottish Highlands.
During his life Drummond built the castle into a high-tech fortress. As an old man, he even his brain extracted and put into cryogenic storage, where he could control the castle as well.
Drummond anonymously hired Lara Croft to search for the Osiris Codex, and the Urn of Cinnabar to create the Elixir of Life as a means to extend his life.
After Lara had found the artefacts, she broke into Drummond's castle. Drummond used his ability to communicate through the terminals, trying to convince Lara to leave the artifacts she found, and leave, but she refused. Drummond then changed his tactics, and tried to kill Lara with the castle defenses. Lara however persevered, and eventually fou
